It is with great pleasure that I accept this prestigious position of President for the St. Vincent & the Grenadines Hotel and Tourism Association for the years 2024/2025. I am elated to embark on new initiatives to establish further growth and development of our people.
The task is limitless, therefore, with the collective efforts and support of my board members along with our stakeholders, I am confident that we shall grow from strength to strength within this fast-paced, dynamic hospitality and tourism sector.
As my board members and I set trends for 2024/2025, we will incorporate all sections of the tourism sector, from transportation for our guests and staff, to eco and sustainable tourism. Thus, taking a wider stance to create income opportunities for our local populations. By building diverse friendships between our Caribbean countries, and international markets, we will promote our natural and local heritage from the beating of the drums, our sweet steel pan melodies, award-winning Soca music, delicious food, and our lush, green, mountainous terrain to take St. Vincent and the Grenadines to one of the world’s top destinations.
Our country, St. Vincent and the Grenadines has the primary fit of exuberance to supersede the imagination of our visitors. From our 54 shades of blue waters to the vibrant carnival colors, we have it all.
Therefore, our primary goal is to assist our stakeholders and citizens to uphold the standards of quality in customer service and guest expectations and experiences which will add to our upward trend,
We hereby encourage and strongly advocate for the youth by providing enhanced educational opportunities for them to enter our Tourism sector so they too can become future leaders with strong work ethics to passionately continue to make St. Vincent and the Grenadines the Caribbean You’re Looking For.
