Vincy Flavours

Vincy Flavours, a Culinary Arts and Mixology competition was first held in November 2006 at Heritage Square, Kingstown, St. Vincent and The Grenadines. It is organized by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Hotel & Tourism Association (SVGHTA). This Annual activity features Culinary and Bartending competitions and display of products by farmers and agro processors. Heritage Square, Kingstown comes alive as our country’s leading chefs and bartenders prepare meals to a live audience, consisting of persons on their way to and from Saturday morning market and general grocery shopping. Visitors are lure to this activity by loud cheering and general camaraderie by on lookers who themselves feel they are indeed participating, as they support their favourite chef or bartender hailing from their community or workplace.

This activity certainly served as a catalyst for Culinary Tourism - a linkage encouraging the use of local products by food and beverage practitioners and serves to support Community Tourism initiatives.
